According to his website, Scott James is out from knee surgery until possibly June.

I would think the Milwaukee area racers would be there, like McGrath and the Scheffler's. But I have no direct knowledge...
Looks like a beautiful facility. Some real neat amenities like a viewing platform off turn 1 and a catwalk over the track entrance off of turn 4. Track itself looks nice and wide, and the weather forecast looks great!

And people were wondering why the lucas guys sat out Fayetteville last week. A few of them are a little off, but no need to criticize ya over it.
Thats a haul for Bronson.
-
Did you figure it by time in a car or hauler? If you did by car then I usually add another hour estimate for hauler.
It would be even farther for Bronson and and maybe a few others to I80. Luckily they are in Wheatland 4 days later. lol

Last I heard Paul Parker was planning on going but that could always change
-
I forgot about Paul. Has to be closer than most tracks he races at?
Has anyone ever been there? Looks like a good sized track. Maybe a 3/8 mile? I didn't see it listed anywhere...

It’s a really nice place. They’ve had a 10k mod special there the past few years and have run late models here and there but videos of them are few and far between. They had a Dirt Kings show there last season right around the time of the 10k mod show. Spectator turnout was a bit weak but it was a mid week show and was essentially a filler class during the lead up to the 10k mod finale.
It used to be paved but they tore out the asphalt and turned it into a dirt track in the mid to late 2000’s. Very wise move because if it would’ve stayed paved that track would’ve been nothing more than a memory. The weekly shows consist of IMCA sport mods and A-mods, stock cars, I think a street stock class and the obligatory four cylinder class.
Zonks...I sent you a PM regarding some of the NE WI guys who may or may not be in attendance. Not sure if you got it or not.

I figured by car and I know that most of those guys shops are not where they are located like Don' Oneal and Darrell Lanigan im sure CBR is somewhere around the stewart hass shop in NC but i could be wrong. I don't think Davenport has the car at his shop either
-
Is their only 13 Lucas series regulars?
-
No there are 14 i combined hudson and don oneal in my little drive time deal cause they are from the same town

Are you sure adding an extra hour by hauler, we have had many of them blow by us on the interstate doing at least 10 mile an hour over the speed limit. The best we saw was when it was extremely windy in South Dakota and the speed limit was 80 miles/hr on I29 and Jason Johnson's Transport (WoO Sprints) passed us heading north to Grand Forks doing at least 85 to 90 miles per hour. The cross wind did not slow them down at all .

It wasn't long ago that Bshep and crew drove from Farmer city to atomic. From FC to Atomic is roughly a 6hr drive, they showed up right at the end of qualifying which normally starts around 6:30. They claimed they left FC at noon. There is road Constrution on 7o a little bit above Dayton too. So I know they had that thing on the wood.
