I will agree that I would like to see Hawkins run more shows but I understand other commitments and the rainy spring weather. I think he's one of the only guys that could put a stop to so many Carpenter victory's around the MOV.

Car owner just across the river from Huntington and driver in Fairmont does present some challenges and mother nature has made it worse this spring.
Absolutely true. Anyone who thinks Tim Logan Racing is dodging a particular driver knows nothing about their history.

What is the weather looking like for the race tonight got a 3 hour drive from pa.
-
Weather not looking good at all
-
Ok thank you for the info
-
I'd say by 1:30 or so Gibby will be trying to get out from under this one!! Weather not looking to good, and if last year gives us any idea, he wont chance it!
-
I don’t know fellas, accu weather showing a chance of a thunderstorm. Could be hit or miss.
-
They cancelled last year because of rain and it wasn't raining! TWICE!!!!!!! Its1:40 minute drive for me and we used to go every week but not anymore--too much nonsense!
-
Didn't they already cancel it once this year or was that a different event
-
Cancelled. Rain date is tomorrow

You're probably thinking of the Earl Hill Memorial at Tyler Co. They've had a boat load of rain outs and tonight isn't looking good.

Thoughts on the makeup conflicting with Eldora?
-
7 grand more to win at midway

It's not relevant. At all.

A lot of events tomorrow.
-
Portsmouth opening night, topless 50 at Tyler County, eldora and midway. That's four races within 3 hours of me and I'm sure theres a few more.
-
With Tyler County running their big show, Portsmouth opening up and Eldora... I am very surprised they did this. Gibby who apparently runs this whole Jim Dunn Memorial, always talks about tracks needing to work with each other and respect each others schedules... and then he pulls this!! Won't be nearly as good show now, cuz cars will go elsewhere!

There will be enough cars at all of the tracks to have a full field for the feature so it really doesn't matter. The Johnny Appleseed isn't supported anywhere near as much as it used to be anymore, Tyler and PRP would have only gotten their normal fields of cars regardless, and Midway is paying the most money so the guys who were planning on racing there will be back on Sunday. At this point there have been so many rainouts that any makeup date would conflict with something else at this point.
