If you do that on Saturday plan on getting there early afternoon. A lot of the seats will already be marked off. You will be able to get in but the earlier you get there the better.

You won't hate this one. Show up Thursday. They have a golf charity event with the drivers, and that night they have a concert/ pre race party at FALS. The atmosphere is great.

What time do stands open for general admission, I think I read somewhere that it is at noon both friday and saturday this year?

Yes noon for the rush of blankets if anyone don't want to chance it an or stand in line pennsboro has reserved seats available in turn 2 $10 bucks each for the weekend well worth it to not wait in line an if ur running late.
