I have worked for both of the two major touring series. The banners that the series put up are not taken down and back with them. The sponsors provide the banners and they have sets for each race that they hold.

Once the race is over fans will normally take them down and put them up in your garage or elsewhere and sponsors would rather have that than the track owner taking them down and throwing them in their dumpster. Now it is a different story if these Banners are owned by the track and need to be put up all your long. But the banners you see people take down are mostly put up for that night or weekend only. I believe Ben Shelton didn't article about the banners 2 years ago and talk to a few of the companies owners and they want their stuff to be reused for free advertisement then thrown away. I think it was on one dirt.com
