SteFan...From everything I've heard Lancaster is not doing "very well" I'll just leave it at that...and Cherokee was shortened because car counts dropped off. The majority of racers today do not want to race weekly on a 1/2 mile. Its a lot more wear and tear on the motor, parts, tires...and if you do crash the damage is much more severe on car and driver.

Could that be why lancaster cancelled FUEL SERIES race for yesterday? Brandy baker still own track?

Not sure, so won't say. You know how rumors go....yes as far as I know Baker still owns or promotes the track.

I imagine they cancelled the FUEL race because of the I95 challenge series. Not enough cars to race both events, probably a wise move on the part of the FUEL series as they most likely would not have drawn a big enough field. This is why, especially in the southeast, these series need to work together....
