was down to Edgewater bout 2 months ago. Track was layed out, some structures were roped for size, but no buildings or grandstands. lets call it turn #3, had a semi-truck sized hole in the side of the track... maybe working on the plumbing... they are close to the river!
We talked to the man, the Edgewater track is happening but the permitting is really being a PiTA... Last i hear was a Flood plane permit, god only knows what next probably a salamander protection permit or whatever else they can come up with to try and stop the track...

That’s not on anyone but them. Why put a track in a flood plain? Knowing the hoops you’ll have to jump through, plus higher insurance. They only need to look in the mirror on that. That is the state, county, and in the long run, insurance companies protecting their butt.
Up in the air who my next “favorite” driver is. Really losing hope on Bloomer getting anywhere back to “normal”.
I am not understanding why the need for another dirt track in the area. With the Burg and Florence, and even Molar, what is their plan to draw people and cars?
