Each era of racing has its group of guys that are the best at the that time. Scott is the best for our generation. I fought that fact for 20 years. But I really think that comparing today’s drivers with the drivers of the 50s 60s and 70s is an apples and oranges thing.

The best ever? Well I think the best driver ever talent wise was Purvis. He didn’t race dirt as long as the others, but talent? Anybody who saw him race knows what I’m talking about. 👍

Hopefully he was hitting the bong when posted that. Bloomquist definitely the goat at Eldora,not because all of the wins, look at all the top3 finishes he has. Billy number 2 for sure 6 globes says it all. Then Jeff on billy heels. Wish Jeff never left dlm, we might not even be talking about Bloomquist and Billy being the goats. Then I have Moran being # 4 for sure. Then Birkhofer or McDowell #5.
But if we are talking about just the world 100 It’s out billy and Jeff. Billy 6 globes or Jeff 3 globes less than 4 years apart wins, first person to win it back to back. Then I have Scott a hire over Moran for #3.
