Why would Owens take either ride? Both are regional teams and Owens is a National tour racer... Can't see where he'd fit in that equation. Roberts to Weaver and English to Blount is the most reasonable plan I've heard but I don't own either team, so what do I know?

Some people think Owens might take a step back from the national scene next year.

If Casey and Blount Motorsports decides to go different directions next year, he may drive for a new team!!

I heard that from a crew guy at the PDC. Said he's tired of the drama in the Lucas series and was really liking what he was seeing in the Ray Cook series. Now that he is running better consistently I wonder if he still feels the same way.

From his location, geographically he could pick and choose what he wanted to run and make off pretty good on it. There's alot better paying events now than there were say 5-10 yrs ago. I wonder though if him and his car owner are on the same page about it.

Right! I wondered that myself when I heard it.

Tanner would be great choice

Look at the stuff Weaver has for sale. I believe there are a couple stories there.
-
So the dream team is a regional operation?
The dream team is Lance Landers, Kevin Rumley, Jason (crew guy) and JD. Never even heard of these other guys. What’s also funny is how everyone’s so high on Zack Dohm. How did he do last night? I’m sure he’s good and I know he got 5th at the DTWC but if you’re as good as everyone says you win that race with ease.
-
I never got this “ dream team “ thing either .... Weaver was onto the absurd Dynamic Posture deal earlier than anyone except rumley. Once everyone got onto the same thing the 116 was just like any other top car. I don’t beleive the 116 has anywhere near the funding that the 49 car has . At that level anything less than absolutely unlimited funding is a disadvantage

Randy "dream" Weaver
"Dream team"
It's no more difficult than that, not sure why some are struggling to comprehend.
-
It was called dream team because of weavers nickname, not because they were trying to the the 1992 usa basketball team. It's not that hard to understand.

Any real updates for this thread?

No crap. Been Randy’s nickname forever.
The other team is no dream team, it’s the “Burn Money Team”.
Up in the air who my next “favorite” driver is. Really losing hope on Bloomer getting anywhere back to “normal”.
