What I noticed in the recap on DoD. It didn't list what engine he uses.

Wooo, thats some straight up hate right there. I wouldn't wish Hatfield on anyone in supers, I'm not crazy gah-gah over Durham, but Hatfield I wouldn't take as a gift.

He should go Cornett or Clements. Can’t go wrong with either builder.

Jack didn’t just win both series titles by accident. Smooth , powerful reliable Cornett power. For the record I don’t have any new spread bore , d3 or ry45 stuff , my stuff is old but I have zero issues. If I can ever get my car and self good enough to get 100% out of my stuff I will buy the good stuff but not unless that happens

Marlar has had great luck with Cornett along with a host of other drivers, both past and current.. before the roushe Yates fad wasn’t rocket1 and lannigan running Cornett power too?

The issue with Jack and Scott was when Scott was getting support from Ford Motor Company. He thought Jack was puting the new Ford parts in others stuff and Scott found a used crank in his stuff. Bad breakup, I would be surprised if he went back to Cornett.

I would have to bet that the truth is more than jack is a businessman who is in business to make money , giving free stuff away isn’t making money. In fact giving free stuff away when paying customers are lined up to pay for it is stupid.

What I mean Buck is Ford was supplying parts for Scott. This was early in his Ford career. Scott thought Jack was putting his free parts into other customers motors and used stuff back in his rebuilds. I didn't make it clear in the other post.

I understood what you were saying , and I know ford was helping him back then but from my experience jack is one of the most straight up guys in racing and I find it really hard to beleive he was stealing Scott’s parts essentially ... I did ask
What happened and honestly I forget what the answer was but it wasn’t that

You must be looking at the old one, because the new one has nothing listed for engines.

Yeah Huck, I understand. He's been a top tier builder for decades and I'm not saying what was true, just what the story was at the time. Scott and Jack both profited from there relationship but Scott rarely goes back to anyone or any product if he feels wronged.
