If track prep doesn't improve, it doesn't matter.
ALL ABOARD! CHOO CHOO

The lucas race was only a train race this year because there was bad weather on the way. It was good for 25-30 laps. There 10,000 to win pro stock race was awesome this year

They need to step up the track prep or people won't go. Last year's Lucas race was completely unacceptable!

Looks like they scheduled the Sharon race against the Hillbilly 100...

No. Sharon is Friday and Saturday and the hillbilly is Sunday. So they woo guys will actually be in the area this year.

Maybe DOD had their dates mixed up then.

Hope to see them back at Davenport, IA.

If you’re referring to 2017, that was I think the first year on the new surface. And I think it was a mistake to have a big race that soon on a totally different surface. I think this year they’ve been better, other than trying to beat the weather on the Lucas race this year.
Some of their sprint shows, and the pro stock show, were good. I have a feeling this is kinda their last push to really get somewhere with the track as far as success, or sell it. They’ve put so much into it, including Port Royal’s clay, I hope they get it turned around. And Raceway 7 with a Lucas race, that area needs it.
Up in the air who my next “favorite” driver is. Really losing hope on Bloomer getting anywhere back to “normal”.

I seen the same ones you did, 31st and 1st. I don’t think it’ll affect either but maybe 5 cars.

2017 was understandable. 2018 was a complete lack of effort. It was probably the worst racing surface I saw all year. I just don't understand the laziness. You'd think every track would strive to be FALS, Macon, Tri-State, etc. Just do what they do and you'll be successful.

I just hope they have success this year. Because there’s nothing worse than going to a track and knowing in hot laps, qualifying, that you’re in for a snoozer.
