I come from a working class family in a rural small town. My personal income is over twice what my total family income was when I was growing up.

The official data doesn’t agree. GDP growth and unemployment trends have not change significantly during Trump’s administration.

4.2%, 3.4%, then 2.2%. Not exactly trending the right direction, nor are they that far out of the trend. We already had this discussion in a previous thread and I don’t have a desire to rehash it.

mccarter evidently , you were where you wanted to be economically when obummer took office , and thats great , my neighbor was a obummer supporter , he lost his job right when obummer got elected , of his own doings by the way , ogummer allowed him to draw unemployment for 2 years , made 6 house payments for him and so on till he finally got off his lazy azz and found a job , and all that is fine and dandy for the ones that benefited from these entitlements , but for me personally , i was doing pretty well, in the used car business , which i started at age 25 with 1 car on a 90 day note , then when all my hard work was paying off , along came obummer and the great cash for clunkers , nearly broke me because he single handily wiped out my supply of vehicles , luckily , i had enough cash put back to survive , but there was a lot like me and in other types of businesses that did not , of coarse no one , like your self , in the obummer fan club wants to admit this , any way you look at it , obummer=bad for business , trump=great for business , which = great for our country as a whole and even includes the left wing ding bats , unlike obummer that only benefited the left.........

This is what I have said all along . The PARTY system is a game very well played .
And what do we get from it , Politicians that keep on filling their pockets , and becoming
millionaires . And passing laws that work for their re-elections .

I get it, I drive used vehicles so the cash for clunkers hit me too, though not as significantly. I get the motivation behind it, trying to prop up the failed auto companies. I think it was misguided, though.

Your neighbor may have unfairly benefited from the unemployment insurance but millions of Americans were without jobs and nobody was hiring during the depths of the recession. I'd say the trade off was worth it.

Your hated Trump is the difference. I agree with Wet man, vote the radical left out of office. There is not one moderate candidate running on DEM who can stand up to radical left and survive. If you think its Biden, good luck. He is truly a political moron on the order of a flub a dub. He won't get the nomination anyway. The Radical left won't let it happen. You should get behind what Trump is doing if you are a moderate of either party. If you can't stand him? fine. But he is a very effective leader. Tariffs and everything. He knows what he is doing, which is a lot more than I say for any Socialist Dem trying to get attention.

I'm leaving the country if that happens.........sound familiar?

It won't be her by the way, she has way too many skeletons and would get eaten alive.

I do like her " smart ass " retort on occasion but she can't think for herself and isn't strong enough to withstand the assault on her character.
Where is the move over flag when you need it?????

I figured you'd be for Harris since she's a law and order type.

She is a fraud. They already have enough info on her to destroy her anyway. Law and Order Babe? When a candidate says medicare for all, especially like it is a no-brainer, they already have bill themselves as financial imbeciles. Plus she is one of the most on tape flip flops running. No chance. LOL
