Davenport Hell Tour
Should be a really good show if the rain holds off like it did today. Wondering how many of the imca mod guys try to run with the ump guys
-
That rain needs to stay north tonight...very, very heavy storms I-80 and to the north.
-
Well, hopefully that’s it for the storms and Mother Nature plays nice tomorrow!
-
Which track will be used, 1/4 or 1/2 mile?
-
1/4 according to their announcement a few weeks ago.
-
Just read Ricky Thornton Jr. will be racing at Davenport tonight....
-

From http://thehelltour.com/
DAVENPORT, IA — July 3, 2019 — It seems Mother Nature is determined to put out the Hell Tour fires this year as she continues her torrent into Davenport, Iowa, forcing postponement of tonight's Summer Nationals and Summit Racing Equipment Modified Nationals event at Davenport Speedway. DIRTcar and track officials — determined not to let her win — are working on a reschedule date.
-
Wow ... unbelievable.
Meanwhile, down here in south Georgia, we've had drought conditions for months now.
-
Any recommendations for fun things to do in Davenport tonight?
-
-
Yet another show that they didn't even try to get in.
-
Luv for them to reschedule........How about this....Lucas Macon the 23rd.....WoO Davenport on half mile the 24th along with the Summer National on the Quarter mile.... a double header if you will. The 25th, Lincoln SN makeup, then on to Fairbury the 26th and 27th. Wouldn't miss any of them!!!!

heavy rain over night Tuesday.....the track couldn't take one more ounce of rain. Then the rain came in again around 3pm and all was lost. More rain predicted the rest of the evening. I live 15 minutes from the track and i wanted this one bad.
-
More rain forecast for Macon and Farmer City.
LoL
This year sucks.

I was at the track. It could have been run in. The radar is clear now. Even if it takes having every car in the pits help run the track in then that's what they should do.

If it's any consolation, it's raining there now.
