Dlmfan123. You need to ask who has the best team. Then you'll find your answer as to who is the best driver. Sheppard has this one hands down I think. As far as most improved, that's a tuff one, some good names thrown out there already but I think I would go with Weiss.

I thought weiss was fast last year? He won the N/S 100. He hasn't reached victory lane with the WoO. I honestly think he has underachieved. But, I'm an idiot who thinks Davenport has done the best this year.

Does anyone change their minds if JD were to win the DTWC?

They should. I'd change mine if blue #1 wins it.

I'm not going to touch that driver of the year but for most improved driver I'll go with the original poster and say Cade Dillard. At the events I seen him at,he ran really well.

I'd vote for Cade Dillard for Most Improved.

He doesn't have a lot of help on the road, and has continued to get better and better.

    Driver of the year:
B-Shepp or JD are hard to argue against. Madden was on fire, but for the year, it's the 49 or the 1.

I think Madden would have to be in consideration for most improved. He went from winning a minor race from time to time to going on a tear with Crown Jewel event wins and the only thing that stopped the tear was the eye socket injury.
I suspect he will be back.
