Quote feature
Anyway know why you can’t quote a post in some threads but others you can?
-
In the past, when I click "Reply With Quote" and it doesn't work, a second attempt with a double click has always worked for me.
-
I always double click. It works maybe 80% of the time. It’s a site thing, not a post thing.

This site runs on an ancient version of vbulletin, the bugs are largely a byproduct of not updating.

There are threads where double clicking the quote button produces nothing. This usually happens when threads get highjacked and go South.

Yeah I'm not that far along. I'm new to posting on this site, although I followed it for a long time. My issue is when I write something in the reply box and use paragraph breaks but then the post comes out as one condensed reply without paragraph breaks. As long as this thread is a bit tech support, I thought I'd ask. Thanks.
-
If they ever fix these bugs and do an update, I pray there’s a new delete comments on your own thread option.

Go to forum actions then general settings then scroll all the way down to miscellaneous options to basic editor and check the box.

Even better yet a block you can put on people so they cant even comment or see your post like Facebook. That would eliminate the trash element real quick...
