Why does this seem sketchy at best? Of course it states a "portion" of the proceeds got to a charity, that is their loophole. Would like to see audit of this when it it all said and done by the TN Secretary of State.
Would buy tickets when they state how many tickets, and when is the drawing. Most raffles have more information on what prize consist of, full roller, steering, rear end, etc.
To me that's dipping low to make some cash. What does he get for a roller 40 to 50k I'm guessing. So 2000 to 2500 tickets cover the cost. Proceeds to charity, Yea after expenses, and I can only imagine what his hourly labor rate goes up to. That roller probably went to 60k. Then they can buy it back for .50 on a dollar and sell it to the next dumb sh*t in line. Yea I don't think I'd want any type of tax people poking around especially the irs.
