-
Hagerstown, Md this coming weekend

Cherokee Speedway in Gaffney S.C. ran this past Saturday and Sunday with 50% fans. The funny thing about this is nobody knows what 50% is there. It has never been told how many fans have been to a race there in one night, or how many track could hold.
-
I believe that this track and maybe others do not want you to know how many fans are in attendance. For whatever reason. And I know some of the reasons.
-
Im sure the owners/promotors know what there numbers are to start with.

You're likely right about that.

The Owners and promotors know the numbers. Everybody knows that. The main reason I can think of that they don't want you to know is, because they do not want u to know how much money they are making......period.

Why can't these tracks post how many tickets were sold? That's all I'm asking. Wether it be 100 or 10,000.

Unless every seat is specifically marked row by row. I don't know if there's an accurate way to count.
-
It's just concrete bleachers man. No way to count. But how do they determine 50%. Half the concrete is full is my guess. I would just like to know how many is there....................Maybe it's like the question how many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop.............the world may never know...........

Count one section, get as accurate as you can, but remember there's kids, people in the bathroom, whatever so don't labor yourself to death. Just get close.
Then multiply that number by the amount of sections. That's how a promoter counts a crowd. You'll be really close to the track's count. The number that you come up with will be way, way less than you think. It would be hard to do on a video feed. I count the crowd every time I go to a race if I'm not racing myself or helping a buddy and I have time to. It would be a Beyoch to do at like Eldora or Knoxville or something but it's easy at a typical Saturday night track with only a couple sections of bleachers.
Guerilla Racing Junkies.
Shovel on a little more coal, then when we cross white oak mountain, watch 97 roll!
The problem is the gall dang motors.
