Well it is surprising, but I think if you're gonna' have this kind of format make it 40 laps the first two nights for 6K and then shorten the 100 lapper to 75 laps for 12K if laps is what is concerning to the drivers. Last night I didn't even get through one Corona beverage and the race was over, that's not what I call intriguing viewership whether I was there or not. Practically the same amount of money out with basically the same laps.
-
They also look at a payout per lap per how much money they are making. Some big races, the Mag does cut down a 100 lapper to less laps in the past. The trade off, they lose a few big boys who likes the one time bigger purse.
-
Saturday night is the big show. These first two nights are just prelims. I’m just glad we get to see three full nights of racing — and a 100-lapper. This is exactly what fans have been begging these series to get back to. I’m thrilled with it.

Is that Chris Brown I see racing in Magnolia?
Been a hot minute since I've seen that guy in a late model.
-
It sure is, the young man from Texas is back racing, I heard them say last night its been two years since he ran a Lucas Oil event. It's good to see him back.

Thanks Montana, I was looking for that kinda info. Looks like Joiner will be locked in tomorrow, oops tonight!!
-
Yes, I've been impressed by this guy since I saw him Thursday night in his heat race PAP, and yes, looks good for him tonight.
-
Why did 212 Josh Putnam's 3rd finish (locked in the main) go to 4th finish Kyle Bronson in the heat race? DQ or give it up to let Bronson run for points? Then 212 Putnam ran con race in the back.

Bronson passed Putnam coming out of 4 on the final lap if I’m not mistaken

Dirt on dirt has 212 in the line up in the main. Bronson ran that position.

We went to bed after the B mains. It sucks to watch for that long and still not see the feature. I even took a nap yesterday afternoon and still couldn’t hold on lol.
-
What is the format for tonight?

No qualifying and no heats I believe is what they said. Top 18 in points from Thursday & Friday are locked in and the rest will run in B mains tonight to round out the field.
-
I sure hope Drew Armstrong from here in Arkansas can hang on and make the feature. He starts on the pole of a consi tonight. He's the brother-in-law of Kevin Swindell, and his Dad Charlie is great racer as well.

They just gave the 10-minute call to staging for the 100-lapper at 8:45 local time. None of that 1:00am stuff tonight lol.

He finished second in his B-main. He’s in the show.

Thanks TerryM! I just saw it on FB right after I posted that. Lots of good cars didn't make the show or went home.
