Kokomo Speedway: WOO LMS Hoosier Dirt Shootout DRIVER ROLL CALL
Other then the $50,000 to win Dirt Late Model Stream at Eldora & the Silver Dollar Nationals at I-80 if I'm not mistaking this would be the highest paying dirt late model event so far to that point. Yes the have be a few $20,000 to win races who far. Cedar Lake & last night at Lucas Oil Speedway for the Show-Me 100 come to mind.
Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series, Lucas Oil MLRA, & MARS DIRTcar Series all off this weekend
Brownstown & Florence both are racing this weekend with regular shows so I wouldn't expect any of their local drivers.

Started a new thread for the driver list because like usual it wouldn't let me edit the list or rest of page. Happens every so often to most of us here on 4m from what I understand.

That was already announced last week. Should be a good show for all. We've been at 50% since June 19th.

good to know i guess they might have been hoping for more. that is just what they posted on fairburys fb page today.

Unless something has changed, Terbo said on Suave talk last week he would be there. I could see some of the Lucas guys coming in, this would be a 2 day test session for them to get ready for their show in August.

The republican governor of Indiana just signed an executive order stating all people in public settings must wear a mask or face covering. So with that and the half capacity order how will this play out?

Do they play beech boys song on loudspeaker between heats ? 😜

Being an Indiana resident it's not that bad. The mask mandate is only in places where you can't social distance or area in an area by your self (office) or party you are with and no one else is near. Only applies at the track when there are people with in 6ft of you or the group you are with.

POSTED TODAY ON FAIRBURY'S FACEBOOK PAGE
Hoosier Dirt Shootout update: July 22nd 2020 - please share...
The Hoosier Dirt Shootout presented by the Illinois State Rifle Association at the Kokomo Speedway is ready to welcome the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model series July 31st & August 1st. Officials from the World of Outlaws, Kokomo Speedway and FALS Promoter, Matt Curl, have been working closely with Indiana officials in preparation for the two-day event. Indiana guidelines will allow 50 percent capacity for the event, which is set to open up on Friday, July 31st highlighted by Showdown Features for the WoO Late Models and Summit Modified Nationals.
With the 50 percent capacity limit, officials will be pre-selling a limited number of two-day advanced event tickets leading up to the race weekend. Those fans who purchase a two-day advanced ticket are guaranteed into the event. If there are any available tickets remaining from the allotment of the presale, they will be sold on race day at a first come, first served basis starting at 4pm on Friday, July 31st. All advanced tickets will be available for pickup at the “Will Call” tent starting at noon on Friday, July 31st. Blankets can be put down starting at 3pm for those ticket holders.
Pit passes will only be available for purchase at the pit gate starting at noon on Friday, July 31st. Although not mandatory, pre-registering your race car for the WoO Late Model Series or the Summit Modified Nationals will guarantee pit passes for your team. Please send a text or email to Promoter Matt Curl @ 309-532-7862 or fairburyspeedway@gmail.com. There will be a limit of pit passes that can be purchased by fans. Fans will be able to upgrade their two-day general admission ticket to a pit pass at the track, but they must buy an advanced ticket to guarantee them a seat for the weekend.
Reserved camping is still available for the event; however, quantities are limited and must be purchased in advance of the event. Advanced tickets and camping can be purchased on the Fairbury Speedway, WoO, or Kokomo Speedway websites.
Camping opens up Wednesday night, July 30th at 5pm for all reservations. As a reminder to campers, golf carts are allowed but there will NOT be any additional space to store trailers and will need to be placed on your reserved spot. Upon arrival to the track, camping officials will park each camper with a reservation.
Event information and competitor notes have been added to the Fairbury Speedway, WoO, and Kokomo Speedway websites for fans and drivers attending the Hoosier Dirt Shootout.

Pretty much..... Each county is taking it differently. Martinsville, Indiana police sheriff said he won't enforce it or take calls from folks snitching on another person or business. That just one of probably many that won't totally enforce it. Lake County where I live is mandating it to a certain extent where you can't social distance (Grocery stores, Restaurants, ect...)
So those coming just bring a mask just in case of any issues that arise.

If the sheriff won’t enforce the mandate will the health department step in if they see things they don’t like.
