No doubt the guy is a dang good driver & chassis guy, but if I was asked to stand behind him concerning anything financial or something that carried responsibility, I'd pass.
That being said, none of us are perfect and we have only heard one side of the story.
I'm not defending anybody. Reading comprehension isn't your friend, I see.

The promoter better have had an agreement on paper, or he just donated to team zero. A verbal agreement doesn't work well in court.

Exactly. You are very correct.

So why would you say the complete opposite first.

Obviously you need PROOF of the agreement

I don't know why a promoter would want all of the drama in the 1st place. Maybe back in the day when Bloomer was a threat to win it might have made sense.

That's right Buford, and IF it did... shame on you Scotty!!
Maybe the guy screwed Bloomy in the past? Mark it PAID! 😎

If that was not your intention then your reading comprehension must suck because the post was about Bloomer taking the promoter for $1,000. For some reason you chose to bring up that the guy was a dumba$$. Only one reason to do that in this thread.

You're assuming I'm taking up for Bloomer, when I'm doing anything but. I just stated that the Beckley promotor seems like a clown.

You really beleive "Fakebook" on this?? Why would a promoter send money, they should pay it when a driver actually arrives at the track.
Just kidding!! hehe
If you're not outraged, you're not paying attention!

With some of you, Bloomer could donate a million dollars to St Jude, or a Veterans organization, or an animal organization, and you would still b!tch. So on one hand he won’t win no matter what.
But at this current point, where he is running average at best, why in the he!! would you pay him to show up? To Beckley of all places. He’d have been lucky to get a top 5, even a top 10. If he was actually paid, that’s your own fault. Just handing someone $1k with noting in writing, if it’s true, just dumb. In writing, signed, whatever, then payment received etc.
Never understood this pay guys stuff. It happens I know, but put that money in the field. I know it’s paid off before to pay Scott, WHEN HE WAS RUNNING GOOD, that ain’t the case right now. Should have saved it for your drivers who actually were there.
Do I think it happened, yep, is it wrong, yep, knowing Scott’s history, never would have given any money to him if that’s what you were doing, till he pulled in the gate. And that way, if the promoter doesn’t hold up his end, you leave, otherwise, you get paid and stay and race.
Up in the air who my next “favorite” driver is. Really losing hope on Bloomer getting anywhere back to “normal”.

Afetr last nite, it looks like Bloomer and his cars are turning the corner!
