Louisville protestors...
...have bats, helmets, gas masks, and even guns...but of course they are "peaceful protestors". Thank goodness there's a curfew tonight. lol
-
The sad thing, a lot of blacks are there to loot when things get wild. We know the curfew won't stand up.
-
City is boarded up like a coastal community waiting on a hurricane.......sooooooo stupid.
I don't normally wish I'll will on anyone just because , but wouldn't hurt my feelings if those wielding bats got a no knock warrant delivered to their noggins tonight and every night they " peacefully protest"
Lots of fuel in Louisville , hope the idiots don't light the wrong building.
Where is the move over flag when you need it?????
-
from what i,m seeing , the Louisville police are not gone back down and they should not....also , what was this outstanding citizen doing laid up with a known drug dealer , that shot through the door first , this whole deal is ridiculous , stand your ground our brothers and sisters in BLUE ........
-
I think the National Guard is near by, so I doubt trouble makers and low life's will be too rowdy ! also the police is out in force with a Big Stick and I think they have already used it.

When cops execute a no-knock warrant, they should expect to be shot at. No-knock warrants should be illegal. Hopefully Rand Paul's bill goes through.
-
And when people shoot at cops they deserve to be shot at back.......
Where is the move over flag when you need it?????
-
Law abiding citizens never have to worry about no knock warrants do they?

You are deranged
-
mcarter, you are against no knock warrants, is it to allow you time to flush your drugs, right?
-
Looters are just looking for any reason to cause trouble and hurt others. They are not interested in solving complex problems. They also don’t understand that their behaviors will only cause people to hate them even more. Business owners will never support their behaviors.
-
The cause is righteous......the pit lizards that come along with them to loot and burn is where it turns stupid and needs commensurate legal resistance.
There will eventually be a city that gets it right one way or the other...maybe it will be Louisville?
Hope so, Ive eaten my fair share of hot Browns in a few joints around there and I would hate to know stupidity and violent opportunist messed that city up too.

It was NOT a "no-knock warrant"! That's a lie being perpetrated by the media. There was a witness who testified before the grand jury that the police knocked 3 times and announced themselves before entering the apartment.

All of these cases are being misrepresented by the media and it's being done on purpose to incite these riots. It's all political and being done because of the upcoming election. Pay attention to the segment of the video that shows the Uhaul truck delivering "supplies" to the "protestors" in Louiseville and how it turns out that trucks rental was paid for by Hearst corporation, a media company.

Amazing how you keep taking the side of criminals!!!! hehe
No knock warrents have a valid purpose. It's for the police's own protection at potentially dangerous places.
But you want to allow the criminals to be tipped off and the police to be endangered.

If you're not outraged, you're not paying attention!

2 officers were shot tonight in the riots and again, It was not a no knock raid as the narrative we've been fed for months now would suggest. An Independent witness who was a neighbor confirmed that the police knocked 3 times and announced themselves.
Taylor was killed on March 13 while LMPD officers were serving a search warrant as part of a drug investigation. It has been widely reported that the officers were executing a 'no-knock' warrant. With this type of warrant, officers do not have to identify themselves. During the news briefing to explain the grand jury's decision, Cameron only referred to it as a search warrant. He said the officers were told by their superiors to knock and announce their appearance while serving this "specific" search warrant.
Cameron said evidence shows the "officers both knocked and announced their presence. It was also corroborated by a witness in an apartment near Taylor's." Therefore, Cameron said, the warrant was not served as a "no-knock" warrant. "When officers were unable to get anyone to answer the door at apartment #4, the decision was made to breach the door," Cameron said. Cameron said they pieced together their investigation from ballistics, 911 calls, officer statements and eyewitnesses.

There was one neighbor who said the cops announced themselves but they were contradicted by at least one other neighbor who said they didn't hear the police announce themselves. If the cops had worn body cameras, we would know who is telling the truth.

So are you suggesting that neighbor would have lied about it? What would their motive be? It's entirely conceivable that some neighbors may not have heard the police knock and announce themselves, especially those who may have been farther away. However, for a neighbor to claim that they heard and witnessed this, if we assume as you do that it did not happen, that would mean that particular neighbor would have had to completely fabricate their story and perjure themselves. Why would they do something like that? And how would their account perfectly match the police officers account? But the most important question is why were we never told that the "no Knock raid" narrative was in dispute and that there were witnesses that reported hearing the police knock 3 times and announce themselves before entering the apartment. What we were led to believe by the media was this was an undisputed fact and clearly that was dishonest! That alone proves we're being deliberately misled by people who have an agenda.

Witnesses aren't always reliable. There are three possible reasons why the neighbor would be contradicting the other witnesses. The first is that the witness is lying. Maybe the witness didn't like the victims or they want to help the officers. The second possibility is that the witness has a faulty memory of the incident and they truly believe they heard the officers announce themselves but in reality that memory is fabricated. That's very common and there are psychology studies showing how it happens going back decades. The third possibility is that only one of the neighbors heard the officers announce themselves and the others just didn't hear it.
I wasn't led to believe this was undisputed. NPR has been open about the contradictions and the lack of certain details.
