DLM season
These folks run the longest season in all of sports. January thru Thanksgiving. They get Christmas off and then immediately start back up in January. Hardest working folks in professional sports. 👍
-
Racing goes past Thanksgiving...
2020 race count:
1/2 of an event

I guess it does. Around here it’s a week or so after Thanksgiving when tracks are pretty much shutting for the winter.

Looks like two weeks off at Christmas and a week or two off in January.
-
You could race every weekend of the year if you wanted...... They are still racing the Xtreme races and its mid December!
-
Xtreme is off until January 9th. But 411 has a non sanction $5k show on January 2nd. Cochran has a non touring $10k crate race January 1-2.

These folks are hard workers and away from family a lot. Bottom line
-

I saw Rocket does around 260 nights on the road a year. I have done 220 and that was not fun. The late model teams that do this have my complete respect for what they do and what their families have to do as well.
