My favorite is the sign he had in his shop, saying something to the effect of "If it don't need sayin', don't say it!"
The older I get, the more I wish people would follow that.

I don't think he is a big fan of Tony Stewart

Just watched it. Very cool
Don't think Tony got a CJ Christmas card. Lol

I believe rayburn could still be a major player in dirt late model racing. Shame that with such a large family it seems it will be gone after his passing. With the camera's he has overlooking his shop I think he would love to be out there still getting his hands dirty. Unfortunately age catches up to all of us. The man has had a stellar career.

he still has the shop to be competitive , just needs to jig one of them XR1,s up , like every one did his stuff when he was on top , and get a couple good drivers with experience , but his convictions will not allow that , soooo i think the rayburn era is over , and thats ok , if every one would stand by there personal beliefs , the country would be in a better place......JMO.....

Yeah, you can respect that. I'll never forget the time about 6 years ago we handily won a race with one of his cars. We had put a 4 link on the lr, rr was still swingarm. He grabbed me by the shoulder, leaned in and said "that was pretty good, imagine how fast it would have been without that 4 bar". Good ole CJ...
