Bristol - WOO Late Models - Sunday, April 11th - News & Race Updates.
29 cars.
Per the Cade Dillard Racing Facebook page.
Friday night we cut a right front tire running 4th and unfortunately destroyed a racecar. In an effort to save the car we have left at a place such as this, we have elected to just start and park today.
Sorry to any fans that had intentions of watching us today.
Bloomquist is changing a motor. He did not come out for hot laps.

It's weird to me that a touring team would go to any race with only 1 car in their trailer (Thornton and Dillard for example). I'd think you'd always have 2 with you and at least 1 back at the shop.

Isn’t Dillards statement saying he has two cars, wrecked one and doesn’t want to wreck the other?
-
Even Bloomquist changed motors rather than having a second car built and ready to go. I bet money is tight from sponsors this year for everyone.

I believe it’s more a parts supply issue.
-
Probably. Where I work, we are dealing with manufacturers that are projecting a year for backorders. People are short on money compared to times past though.

Track looks excellent IMO. We need this place to dry and slow down.

Oh yeah, money definitely plays into it too. But those who do have it still aren’t able to get stuff. It’s the byproduct of the last year. Was watching that interview with Vic Hill where he was saying if he wasn’t stocked up on parts ahead of time, he wouldn’t be able to build any engines right now. He was saying the same thing for wheels and chassis parts.

Definitely. That’s what made Saturday so good for the Bristol Nationals. They finally let the track go and it widened out and slicked off enough to make multiple grooves.

There are probably less than 5 teams in the country that have 3 race ready cars at all times.

LOL at these fools missing the race for, and pass for, the lead in the first heat race. Awesome job of showing the race for 4th and 5th the entire time though.
