The place does look awesome! I hope the racing is good and the place stays racing for a long time to come. The hillside is one of the best places in the country to watch a race from.

Flo Racing is broadcasting this race live.

I believe they're broadcasting every WVMS race live.

Penns, I don't mean to hijack this thread but I have a quick question for you given you're from nearby. Has there been any more done in regards to getting Pennsboro operable?

Not in the past year or so. I don't think they've given up on the place but I'm not too hopeful about it. There's really been no improvements in the past couple years. Sorry I don't have much information, I wish I did. I'd really like to see one more race there but I don't think it'll ever happen.

List is at 13. I hope some National guys stop through on the way back.

Looks like a great place to go to and watch the races..
If you're not outraged, you're not paying attention!

Jd doesnt have this on his schedule

His schedule isn't updated for the weekend yet.
He replied on twitter to a fan that he plans on going to WVMS Sunday.

Thought maybe Ricky would venture over there.
2021 race count
6 events

They haven’t had a race on the big track in 10 years, and they’ve had no open practices to my knowledge. $8000 to win $400 to start is laughable. Place is gonna be just a step below Bristol as far as wear and tear on equipment
-
Drop Shock, I somewhat agree. But then I look at the Pennsylvania racing scene and see that the late model counts there are thriving. PA has a ton of big, fast, momentum, type race tracks. (Port Royal, PPMS, Williams Grove, Selinsgrove, etc.) It looks to me like the regional guys up there support the heck out of those types of tracks, why can't that happen at WVMS? You can argue that WVMS is a tad faster than any of those I named and I'd agree.

They increased the pay throughout the field and added $500 fast time award.

Only Port Royal is really thriving as a super late track out of the tracks you named.
The big difference between central PA SLM racers running big half miles and WV locals running WVMS is that the central PA guys have the equipment that can handle it. The WV locals do not. They’re used to running little bullrings.

Most of that is true Bayko, but usually the regional shows up there thrive as far as car count don’t they? ULMS at Grove had good numbers I believe. Port is Port, excellent place. I know PPMS has their struggles but it seems like when they ran supers they had decent counts.
