Lanigan/Viper Split
Darrell Lanigan & Viper Motorsports have split. Max Blair has been hired by Viper as the new driver per DOD article just released.

Saw this coming a mile away.

THE ORIGINAL SLIDING SIDEWAYS

Does it say weather or not the team is still going to be running on the world of outlaws tour
-
It says Blair will debut the new ride in a couple of weeks. Also, the article said they would be concentrating on the ULMS series and that Blair would maintain the equipment in his family’s shop.
-
Not the biggest max blair fan but happy he finally got an opportunity

ULMS, really. Yea they have some good cars but why not the woo tour ? Folks around PA have always made excuses why the 111 would never show for big shows around his area.

Lol. He absolutely does show up to the big races. And runs well. Max is a wheelman, but it’s him and his Dad, first and foremost they need to make money. They aren’t rich.
I hear that from those in the area I grew up in, and anytime I see Max, he is up front. Everywhere.
Up in the air who my next “favorite” driver is. Really losing hope on Bloomer getting anywhere back to “normal”.

I’d say no WoO tour because Max certainly won’t be in the points chase, and to see if this deal will actually work. Then next year maybe go on a tour if they can make it last.

Probably because we’re already 3 months into the WoO season.

So Lanigan and Bloomquist are both off WoO?

I don't think you'll see max on the woo tour. This "ride" has a history of big press releases and low funding. I was honestly surprised to see lanigan with him over a year.

Right, Clanton is LOLM and Bruening is WoO.

I believe he was planning to run WoO then was sick. They were going to make a decision after speed weeks. There is nothing on the schedule after Port Royal and on DoD in notes it says Clanton weighs plans after runner up finish at Port Royal. There's about 5 guys in front of him that won't be at upcoming WoO events.
