T-MAC/ Lucus oil championship
Well looks like T-Mac pretty well has the championship won being he's 400 points ahead of 2nd place
-
Yea finally. He's been runner up a few times. Now will he retire so to speak. Not retire from racing just national series. This was mentioned in one of his interviews I read just a few months ago. I think it was dod if I'm correct. I think he will current team but may b run a lighter schedule to include some mod racing. Jmo

It's been a long time coming and he's earned it more than anyone on that tour.
-
Yes he has definitely earned it

Just curious, how many other drivers have won both a WoO and Lucas Oil championship?

Josh Richards, Scott Bloomquist, and now Tim McCreadie.

Billy Moyer won the Hav-A-Tampa series (Lucas Oil) back in 1997 and also won the WoO

What does the Hav-A-Tampa have to do with the LOLMDS?

You must be new to dirt racing… welcome!

Lucas does not claim lineage from Hav A Tampa, as far as I know. And beyond Swims' consultation for the startup Lucas, I don't know of any real links.

His question was, who has won the lucas oil title and woo title?
-
Getting quite technical here I guess but there are similarities from when they ran Hav-a-Tampa those guys went to Lucas and the STARS went mostly to WoO. Correct, there is no claim of connection there, just pointing out the similarities and that although it wasn’t called the Lucas Oil series HAT was mostly the same exact drivers
-
waaac77, not exactly. Looks pretty evenly split. The last few years of Hav-a-tampa's existence, Eckert, Francis, Bloomer, McDowell ran with them, they all went WoO racing in 04. EPJ went to Lucas and so did Matt Miller if we want to include him.
-
Lucas Oil series technically started in 2005. In 2004 it was called the NARA series and was won by Shannon Babb. Lucas oil became the primary sponsor in 2005 and it was renamed the Lucas oil Late Model Dirt Series, the points standings that year was EPJ, Don O’Neal, Donnie Moran, Matt Miller, and Scott James. DirtonDirt is a great research tool

Drop Shock
Spot on, it was NARA.
Zero to do with Hav A Tampa.
Up in the air who my next “favorite” driver is. Really losing hope on Bloomer getting anywhere back to “normal”.
