A tad concerned for Bubba's fan count...
Very few fans care to fly/drive in before East Bay. So, Bubba may have a hard time, getting fans in the stands.
We were in the very small crowd last year, with the frigid temps... And that was after East Bay, on the way to Volusia.
Car count should be fine, but....
-
Weather looks terrible for Golden Isles this week too, highs in the 50s at best.
-
Freddie Carpenter - East Bay.

Isn't that what it usually is there? At least that's an improvement from a few days ago when it looked to be rainy and in the 30's and 40's.
Ryan King will be at all events except Volusia.
-
50 degrees is fine for racing. Rain is not, right?
-
Kyle Larson - Golden Isles

Golden Isles is running 602s and 604s as well as the supers. They are time trialing all 3 divisions.

"Golden Isles is running 602s and 604s as well as the supers. They are time trialing all 3 divisions."
Again why three Late Model divisions for a National series race? Didn't we just see that last week at Volusia, how did that turn out? The fans are there for the LOLMS....give them what they came to see. Get em in and out and wanting more.......

Lucas officials always run a much more efficient show...

It could be worse.. they could be running Open Wheel Modifieds.
-
When I went in 2017, they ran a crate LM class and crate racin usa stock cars. We were still out of there by 10pm both nights. I cant see them getting as many crates as Volusia did. There is not near the money on the line.

Killers gotta mortgage payment due!

I got a suggestion with the transponders why don't they time the lower classes during hot laps saves a lot of time,
-
Golden Isles is hotlapping/qualifying 604s. 602s hot lap and qualify. No heats…… just b mains. A mains are after Lucas oil A.
They are 3 hours ahead of Volusia already.
-
Correction 604s are hot lapping and then qualifying.
-
Well that just took golden isles off my schedule. WTF I just don't get it. The place has always had a good car count and good attendance. Is this another crate USA deal or what ever there called ? Didn't Bronson used to run with this group before he moved up to supers ? I'm not against promotors doing this, BUT, the fan that came for the slm show needs not to be held hostage until after these guys bring out caution after caution.
-
You’re forgetting what else those other divisions bring……. $
-
And everyone there isn’t just there for the supers anyway…..some people like racing in general….all types.
Where is the move over flag when you need it?????
