That sounds like some mighty impressive results for a very impressionable young man ! !

Would be surprised if they raced with highs in the 40's and low in mid 20's

If you get 2 nights in a row of racing in Iowa in March without freezing your boys off..y’all better go see it.

Wish we could just abandon March and April racing in Iowa. Race later into the year. Every year it’s the same bs.

I'll never understand trying to race in March and early April in this part of the country. I mean it's absolutely magical when one of the handful of 70 degree days falls on raceday, but the odds of that happening are extremely low. Don't get me wrong, I'll sit through the cold. I survived the 2016 Illini 100, so I'll survive anything. But scheduling races for this far north this early in the year is usually a fool's errand. We don't race in November up here for (mostly) the same reasons, so why March? March is basically the November of Spring in a sense. I'm sure I'll catch crap for saying this, but I don't really care. This has been my personal opinion for a long time.

A few years ago at LaSalle during the Thaw Brawl it got down to 28 degrees by feature time. I sat there all of it.
