The last that I heard, Josh Richards currently doesn't have a ride for next season and is undecided on what he is going to do. I would love to see him on the track but there are no quality rides currently available.
In order to be the man, you have to beat the man...

Is “retiring” the politically correct way of saying “I don’t have a ride” ?

does it matter? not to me.

Maybe not to you -but to me there is a big difference between being unemployed and retiring.

I think Josh is just done. His heart clearly hasn’t been in it in a few years.

Josh lost the dedication yrs ago. He is happy at this point in life, so in reality that's all that matters. The guy has a ton of talent, he's in his 30's I believe, maybe someday that desire and dedication will come back. Happy days ahead 'Kid' rocket

If he is independently wealthy and don't have to work then good for him but he may change his mind after about a year of punching the clock..

I’ll own several of his tshirts before 23 is over for sure.

I think leaving racing is retirement. I mean, it's semi pro at best, driving for most teams.

Pretty good roster they have put together.
-
Rosters always drastically change for both series after Speedweeks.

I don't think drastically is the right word. They change a little but for the most part they're set in stone. Of course a couple of those WoO guys don't know what they're getting into and will drop off after Volusia, and maybe a driver or two will flip flop series but at this point we pretty much know what we're getting in 2023.
