Softer spring with Preload on Mods, so stopping the droop helps getting the shock off easy. Since the spring and shock are seperate. The geometry of the clips produce a lot of droop travel thats useless.
I saw one on a new Harris mod. Are they being used on any dlms?
Using them on alot of stock clip applications, it’s a way to run soft but still have some rate in your 1-2” travel range so you don’t crash through your travel. The spring acts stiff until it overcomes the preload in the chain. It’s the same concept as like a Joes Racing Preloader.
