Fairbury Friday 100 degrees and index worse.
Will this affect Friday in any way or timelineI know SNs canceled races in the past once heat was out of control or pushed show back a few hours. I don’t ever remember a crown jewel though. Do you think anything should be done? I would be in favor of moving fridays program back a few hours.

I expect a later start time both nights.

Might not be an option Friday, I have a 50% chance of rain at around 10 Friday night.

I can see Friday but I highly doubt Saturday. Although Fairbury is the best in the nation at getting through a show thoroughly.

My phone only says 15% which imo is pretty means it’s not going to rain.

While they do a good job in that area, Mike Van Gendren and Bob Sargeant run even more efficient shows.

Exactly, I was going to ask him if he's ever been to a bob Sargent show

Supposed to be 94 friday and 96 saturday at Fairbury.
Poor air quality could affect some. Although I'm not sure this isn't something the gov has created more than a reality.
Gonna be hot this weekend though for sure. Make sure your tires are ready for the trip. Changing tires in heat like this is a real bummer. We blew a tire at Brownstown once when we got there, someone left a stake in the grass after the Jackson 100 and my buddy didn't see it. it was nearly 100 degrees that afternoon. It popped a front tire and and we sweated like slaves stoking a coal furnace changing it. lol

Remember being at the topless one year, pond was dryer up, Mooney had to buy a water for the track, the ground was cracked, Friday night at 12:00 midnight,it was 100 degrees

A race like this where the tickets are already sold will go on, but any promoter who has a regular show would be wise to cancel when it gets this hot.

They've been forecasting t storms around these parts lately just to appease the farmers.

Oh that must have been one rough day/night. It was about 100 at B-town but I imagine it got into the eighties after dark. B-town had to buy city water about that time too maybe? It was a very hot and dry summer.

Try and find some electrolit. It’s an electrolyte drink
