This has always puzzled me. I visited with him and Dear Creek ans is a super nice guy. It's him and his wife out on the road, so they are always busy with the car.
Why wouldn't Longhorn help.this guy out a.little.to help him being more.competitive? Would adding a seasoned crew chef pay.for itself with better finishes?
Good on him for not dropping off the tour though. So many unsuccessful rookie tour driver drop out.
Their are no naturals when it comes to traveling with a national series it takes a few years to get going. He does need a crew chief Amanda does a great job but they need Someone with more experience to get to the next level. Hopefully they have the opportunity to continue

It’s his second season but I agree completely with your statement. Life on the road is rough, even for the veterans and especially those new to touring. Ross and Amanda are good people and very hard workers.
