Unhook the cars, prices will drop, racing will be better, and you won't spend the sport out of existence. Imagine what it's gonna cost at gate now! This add money trend has gotta stop somewhere.

If the national debt has taught me anything, it's that the only solution is more money more money more money
-
I suppose that will draw more cars that aren't willing to gamble losing a fair chance at a title with LUCAS if they still intend to use NASKY types of gimmicks to bamboozle fans ?

Holy man! Even if you run 5th in points all you have to do is show up every day and still make over $100,000. And 6th will get almost the same!

I applaud these series for finding ways to keep paying more money, but I'd like to see them work on the other end also.... the cost to compete.
-
Seeing the increase in payouts keeps many teams out there chasing dreams. I'm going to agree with the above comment 100%. Why are they not even making any attempt to help the racer by making changes to somewhat level the field for all. Everybody, well except for steve francis, can see how aero dependent these cars are.

The problem there is two-fold.
1) they don't care
2) they don't understand where they can actually make a difference
3) the racers are their own worst enemy, so again, using the power of physics is the only way to save money. Arbitrary rules will not do it.
