Mean Gene Okerlund was a great announcer and he did so much to further careers of wrestlers throughout many years. When he passed away only a couple of those guys could manage to show up at his funeral. Kind of sad story in the end.
Oh the Gong Show references. That takes me back. That was fun TV when I was a kid.
Political correctness,...is the inability to speak the truth about the obvious.
They effectively gave the go ahead to cheat your tires all you want. Just do away with any tire rules and forget about testing. The WoO had exactly that until they started drinking from Hoosier’s teats like Lucas.
I think its gene gene the dancing machine…..who I also believe lost his leg or legs to diabetes later after the gong show if the urban legend is correct.
As I stated in another thread, I don't think losing everything you gained during the event, plus some is 'nothing'. Should never have been suspensions in the first place, IMO
So who in Woo is the unknown comic in all of this?
Lol, take your pick! Add in the mouthpiece that says "the penalties are steep because I want this stuff out of my pits". I mean, isn't the point of calling out any rules violation supposed to be to deter it from happening? Why are tires any different than any other illegal part to begin with?

Gene passed away in 2019, 77 years old.
If you're not outraged, you're not paying attention!
