There are a lot of flawed people, just like the general population.

Geez, are you serious! These are race car drivers, not heroes.

I don't know how fair this topic is. Anyone can have a bad day. A lot of these guys are good people, some might be a**hats and others might just make a mistake. The same can be said about other entertainment figures (music, tv, stick/ball sports, etc...). Isn't there a saying something along the lines of being careful when meeting your hero? They might not be the person you thought.

Dude deleted half the post. He had posted about Bronson, Bloomer, Gilpin, Davenport, Chub, and several more and their legal records, even years and years ago.

If you're gonna keep me honest RayCookFan53,

I'd prefer you do so with Bible Verses.

It was all public record that I posted.

I posted TMZ-esque stories about our beloved racers and took it down. I figured you softies couldn't take hearing anything negative about your heroes.

    Well,

The 1st post after I did it, some dude was about to call the 4m police.

I figured I'd save discussion for everyone, not just get myself in trouble.

Heroes? They're guys that drive cars in circles for money. I mean we're fans, but most people differentiate between say EMTs and firefighters (heroes). And race car drivers, fighters or ball players.

Sorry if that sounds like a lefty virtue signal or something. But this whole world will get a lot better as soon as we realize that entertainers ain't role models for our kids.

If your kid is overly influenced by clothing, you’ve failed as a parent.
