Default Live tv hurting quality of racing??

I have watched every night of East bay. The racing has been exceptional until Friday night. The only difference is the delays for the live tv. I believe the track dries out during those delays and become a one lane. Hope I’m wrong and will be watching tonight.

The track was dried out and had alot of rubber showing before the racing even began.

When you race on a track for 15 nights or whatever it was. It may have a bad night. I thought last night was good until about 10 to go when it finally got one lane.

It doesn't matter. Lucas puts up the money for the series, so it goes however they say.

Yep, we were getting covered up during hotlaps and knew they hadn't put enough water down. Still, they only missed it by 10 laps!

I think it improves the shows. No 30 min breaks to sell hotdogs no 4 or 5 support classes. All shows were over by 9 :30

I cannot express how much I love the races being done by 9-9:30 every night. The live tv helps in actually having organized races at a dirt track.

Or you could just go to a Bob Sargant show even without live tv. Bob runs a very good show and keeps the show moving along.

TV had nothing to do with the quality of the race on Friday. Saturday was much better and it was also on MavTV.

That is true about Bob Sargent. He runs a great show. I am a diehard like most of us, but even I get sick of being at a track with 5 support classes and the late model feature yet to be run at midnight. That hurts the sport a ton and has stopped many friends and family I know from going to certain tracks anymore.

I am happy for any telecasts of racing. It is great to be able to see these dirt races that you cannot attend. East bay had a great week and yes there were a few laps of follow the leader on Friday, but No way can I see that having to do with live TV

This is true as I quit going to the Knoxville Sprint Car Nationals after going 10 straight years. It's been 15-20 years since Knoxville started with Live TV and it really changes things. I'm kind of used to it now watching live video from MavTV and DirtVision. U ever see 40 Front Wheel drives run a 50 or 75 Lap A-Main? I did after the WOO race Saturday night.

I am pretty old these days. Even though i am still in good shape, It is a lot easier for me to watch Dirt on Dirt piped into my TV these days. Attended my first race in 1950 as a young kid. Lot of sitting at race tracks for many decades. Pretty much just go to Florence these days.
