Just seen this on Facebook.
JUST ANNOUNCED.

If there are 101 or more USRA Modifieds in attendance at the 2020 edition of the USRA Fall Nationals here at Vado Speedway Park next fall, Trudy Healy and Rancho Milagro will pay $50,000 to win the main event.

there should be some kind of rule that if you aren't a weekly mod driver most of the year, you shouldn't be allowed to enter. the mod guys should get to have there big day once in a while.

You don't see the modified drivers whining about it. So I would say no to that.

So you want them to have 20 cars?

why would you think they would only have 20 cars? I know nothing about new mexico racing, but if someone put up that kind of purse, there must be some interest out there. $5000 will usually draw around 100 mods around ohio, Indiana, and ky area.

Go whine to the moderators. I posted it here due to the likely hood of some big name late model drivers being there just like this year.

Because that’s pretty much what they draw for a weekly show. You would be eliminating a lot of good talent that raced this weekend for 25k. The Scott Brothers, Rodney Sanders, Jake O’Neil. 3 of those guys are “local” that don’t race “local” anymore.
What you are asking is for basically segregation and discrimination. A promoter would be cutting his throat saying that after putting up that kind of purse. This comes up on here every year when an open motor guy starts running crates because the payout is pretty good. It’s ok for Overton to do it, but not Kyle Bronson apparently.
As far as paying 50k to win if they get 101 cars. No chance of that happening especially since he already announced it. Drivers that have no shot at winning aren’t gonna go there just help somebody else get 50k. It’s never worked before and it’s not going to work.
Don’t want the big boys to show up, don’t pay big money. It’s not that hard.

No one is forcing you to read it. You could have skipped it in a lot quicker time than what it required for you to reply to it.

We need more of Royal's type in this world. I like how he isn't skeered to get out there and get dirty with the rest of them.
