Default DoD driver of the year

Such a travesty. Apparently they're obsession with Sheppard is still going strong.

Its hard to top Sheppard but I probably would've taken Overton over Sheppard this year with Owens being a very very close 3rd.

The only travesty, is me thinking your stupidest post of the year, has already happened... Guess not.

That went south quickly. Kinda contradicts your post last week about "douchebags who are too worried about wrecking every thread, with their non-racing soap opera crap."
Your obsession with "dill holes" and the username "big daddy" is kinda scary also. Just sayin'

I’d have went Overton slightly over Shepherd.

When is the last time someone not on a national tour won that award?

Owens won Lucas title. I’d pick Jimmy for this award. Shep a very very close second

I’m not sure what you’re mad about. It’s literally a toss up between Overton and Sheppard. You can’t go wrong with either IMO. Both had great years.

If Overton had followed a tour I would have to agree with him getting the nod. Sheppard's wins come against much stiffer competition night in night out. Get big sexy on the woo tour and I think he will give team rocket a run for the title.

Driver of the year. Kyle Larson, beat every anybody out there that races on dirt in 2020. Midgets, caged karts, sprint cars, winged and non winged, champ cars, and let's not forget, he stole all the money from a really good field of cars at port royal.

I don't know the answer to this and i have to agree with what's said above. Alot of overtons wins came racing in his home region. What happens if you put shepp in Illinois every week. Here's a question for the statatitions. How many times did they race head to head and what were the results ? Personally for me it's shepp, Owens, overton in that order hands down

good post jking , you have to look at the competition where these wins took place to give this type of credit , i still think the lucas series is the toughest , I would go Owens , shepp then overton , I am a bit prejudice though....lol.....

Most wins, Shep. Best against the strongest national circuit, Owens. Most wins while being of primary responsibility for car set up, Overton.

Overton way to many $3000 wins on the Southern Nat. series. Race Lucas or WoO and the story might be different.
Sheppard had 16 wins that paid $10,000 or more.

Here is my take - bash away with your opinions. These are numbers - no opinions.https://twitter.com/ADLM_Rankings/st...76994181435393
In the aDLMr drivers are rewarded for showing up often and performing well against the top competition!!!
