Congrats to Strickler on the win. He has been running real strong lately. Great to see Jared Landers back racing against all the current hot shoes. I wish I was at the track. Sounds like quite the event.

Thank you, sir. Was at Fairbury when he set the track record with my bud and I texted him at work last night guess who set fast time of 46 cars at I-80? He texted back what motor does he run knowing it had to be Strickler........ Told him I'd ask at 4m, somebody will know.

Dude is hitting on all cylinders right now. Hope he cashes a big check before that changes.

Was wondering the same thing. Not real happy with the call of the race last night. Seems Essex struggled with relaying info without his partner in the booth with him.

Davenport finished 3rd in his heat and also had to run a B-main. Lol

Yes. Losing 2 spots in your heat is not an impressive performance, nor good for points in this format.

I think it was more a case of no one knowing how the hell this weekend’s point system works lol. Which partner are you referring to?

I was actually surprised he wasn’t lower in points.

Doesn't Essex always work with a partner? I've had the Lucas subscription for 5-6 races now and he's always had that same partner. Don't know his name but thought Essex has had much better calls than he did last night. ............ Call me crazy but I like the guys in the booth to understand and communicate the rules of the sport they are calling.

The announcer needs to know where the camera is pointing. To many times last night they talked about the race for the lead and the camera was showing the battle for 3rd thru 6th. Made it pretty confusing and also how close the race actually was.

Same thing I was saying. Either the announcer needs to know where the camera is pointed or the camera man needs to hear what the announcer is saying.
