Why do we run 100 lap races if we don't have tires that will last that long? DOD said only 1 driver finished without changing a tire. He was in 7th.

You sound like the guys that added fuel stops to races that didn't need them before. If an animal evolves useless traits in the wild, it dies. The world doesn't change to save it.

because the promoters at Cherokee have no respect for the drivers anymore. Aske the touring guys how they feel about the facility.

Ole Flyboy is totally clueless to anything pertaining to dirt late models- yet he has over 2100 post since February! What a dang joke!

Do you know what tire everyone ran?

I know back in the late 90s, when the national 100 was still a big deal, strategy was to run a tire that could not make it, to avoid getting lapped.

Dirt racing isn’t for sissy’s. It’s not 99 laps. It’s 100 lap race. Survival of the fittest. And yes it’s expensive.

    He's just clearly trolling.

People are inhaling too much tire prep if they think a tire can consistently last 100 laps. With the exception of Rocket1 🤔🤭

I enjoy the 100 lap races as a fan. I can see they would be tough for the competitors

Yet other tracks across the country run 100 lap races and no one bats an eye. It was a Carolina Clash sanctioned race if I remember correctly, so what exactly does the opinions of touring guys have to do with anything?

Please enlighten us about how well you know the promoters at Cherokee. I bet you’d have to google their first names.
