It's on Bristol Motor Speedway's Socials not the WoO's.

Sheppard turned 134 mph? Tenth faster than the cup record? Or did I hear that wrong

Looking at Race Montior Sheppy ran a 15:4. Cup pole time is right around 15.0 or faster even 14.6
-
Everyone at Rocket1 working on the car. They have the computer out. Work table. Dyno. Etc. Other teams just standing around.

Yes 14.56 is the NASCAR blacktop record.
Also 13.86 (Sammy Swindell, Swindell Motorsports, 2000, World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series
is the sprint record on dirt.
If you're not outraged, you're not paying attention!

Correction!!!
Brian Gerster qualifies his #50m Sprint Car with a 12.742 second circuit around this high banked 1/2 oval track at 150.585 mph. On the blacktop.

These races have me concerned. I'm talking all divisions. I hope I'm 100% wrong, but I have a bad feeling about this deal.

I was thinking the same thing. Them basturds are flying around that place. Hope nobody gets seriously hurt.

1200 race cars in 8 divisions. WOW
-
It's going to be worse than I thought.
-
Got to think qualifying will be crucial.
I hate time trials.

If you have never walked in that place you just don't get it... It's too fast, it's not gonna race good, blah blah blah. Who cares, it is a historic track covered in dirt. If it widens out great if it doesn't oh well. Enjoy that someone is taking a chance on it. You might see a better race at your sh!thole local track but I guarantee if you go to Bristol in person you will not be disappointed with the environment.

That's why it'll be Blue #1 atop the WoO point standings again. Kick em while they're mediocre, cause it won't last long. Not going to outwork that bunch.
