Plus it’s cold as hell right now in these parts. Florida isn’t.

MI Dirt Fan, I agree, Lucas has had the tougher competition for years. It's just more lopsided this year than ever.

Looks like Boom Briggs is running WoO full time in 2019.
-
I had a feeling he would since Lanigan is.

And there was the answer to my post.

That's big. WoO needed another high caliber driver. Roster looks pretty good now.
Sheppard
Madden
Clanton
Lanigan
Erb jr
Weiss
Overton?
Junghans
Briggs
Dillard
Hardy
Smith
That's a solid 12 plus a couple others.
-
Wow! That is big news around these parts (Northern Illinois) flagone. I think Erb will do well with WoO.

Face it. The Lucas series is going to be tough each night. Other than the Lucas tow money and what not he's going to miss. (Not sure how different it is from WoO) It's probably a smart move for him.

Tell that to the Rocket1 team, b/c their win % was higher in the Lucas races they entered last year than WoO races.
-
I'm still hearing rumblings another driver may run WoO full-time depending on how they do during speedweeks.

Well yeah. When you enter say 6 races. Win 4 and top 5 and top 10 in the other compared to entering 40+ events and winning like 10-12.

No lucas or speedweeks for zeigler

WoO 2018
6 different full-time WoO drivers won a race
Bloomer(2), Owens(2). T-Mac ftom Lucas had wins
McDowell(2), Moyer Jrjr, Hedge(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word), and Simpson also had wins
Lucas 2018
12 full-time Lucas drivers won a race
B-Shepp(5), Madden, Erb from WoO had wins
Overton(2), Jameson, Weiss also had wins
Was curious, so I looked at it in more detail.
14 different winners on WoO tour, 18 on Lucas. Not sure if the above proves anything other than it's extremely difficult to win at that level.
Gives one a better appreciation for drivers/teams that win 6+ races on a tour year in and year out, or win events on both tours each year.
