    Due to tire shortage.

It's more likely that track management canceled it after their disappointment with the turnout last time. If tires aren't an issue for this weekend's races or the Knoxville races then one extra race wasn't going to be an issue.

I80 does make them run those junk wrs55. Those might be in short supply.

I think its more than a tire issue. Like mentioned above, the lackluster car count for I80 nationals was probably a bigger factor.

I80 is really far for most super late teams that are willing to run national tour shows.

The WRS 55's are in very short supply. We run them on the series that the Kosiski's oversee (SLMR) and we are having trouble in Iowa, Nebraska and western Illinois finding any of the 92 size and there are dwindling supply of the 90 size. Supposedly Hoosier temporarily quit producing them.

They should go back to Port Royal that weekend that was cancelled at I-80.

Now for future visits to I-80 they need a track to host a Friday/Saturday in the area so they can get in 2 or 3 shows for that long drive. Maybe do Fri/Sat at I-80 then the next Wednesday at track 2 then the following Fri/Sat at track 3.

Hoosier has to be loving this tire shortage in a way. What better way to get rid of stock piles of junk tires that would take years and years to sell, now theyre all gone in 1 week. Seems like a great time to introduce the nationwide tire rule soft/med/hard while hoosier isnt sitting on tons of inventory of different stuff.

Why do we need nationwide tires? The dirt is very different depending on where you live in this country.

Fairbury hosting the Flo series the night before may have played a factor also...

I agree. I think that is a bigger factor than the tire shortage.
