You obviously haven't bought any parts or had top notch machine work done lately. I will grant you that I wouldn't fork over 27K for a used engine but that's just me.

That was probably a $16k engine in 2015, if it were a 15 degree. Based on CPI inflation alone, it's $22k now. This is also the next generation after a 15. I'd say it's price pretty fair in the new world we live in post massive money printing.
