Iron-Man Late Models and Modifieds add Junebug Rowland Memorial at Ponderosa to 2017 Schedule
SOMERSET, KY (January 13, 2017)--Officials with the Schaeffer's Oil Iron-Man Championship Series and the Brucebilt Performance modified Series are pleased to announce a schedule addition to the 2017 schedule bringing both series' to 14 race dates.
On Friday Night September 15, 2017 both tours will sanction the 17th Annual Hugh "Junebug" Rowland Memorial at Ponderosa Speedway in Junction City, Ky. The Late Models will race for $3,000-to-win while the Modifieds will race for $1,000 to win.
This event will be the first of a doubleheader weekend for both tours as the series will visit Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville, Tenn. on Saturday September 16th and Saturday's race will be co-sanctioned with the Schaeffer's Oil Southern Nationals Bonus Series.
