The Possum Town Grand Prix at The MAG Returns Thanksgiving WEEKEND!!!
Columbus, Miss. (11/08/21) – Magnolia Motor Speedway is gearing up for the return of the Possum Town Grand Prix, which will be held Thanksgiving weekend - November 24-26, 2021.
The 2021 edition of the Possum Town Grand Prix will feature Super Late Models ($3,000-To-Win) PLUS Trak-Star Crate Late Models ($3,000-To-Win), MSSS/Murphy Towing Street Stocks ($2,000-To-Win), William Wells Three Star Tire and Auto Factory Stocks ($1,000-To-Win), Glenn’s BBQ and Fish Late Model Sportsman ($1,500-To-Win), Murphy Towing Hot Shots ($700-To-Win), and The Eaton Clinic Modified Sportsman ($1,000-To-Win).
On Thursday, November 25 (Thanksgiving Evening) the track will have an Open Practice Session from 6pm-9pm.
Meanwhile, on Friday, November 25 the Trak-Star Crate Late Models, MSSS/Murphy Towing Street Stocks, Three Star Tire and Auto Factory Stocks, Glenn’s BBQ and Fish Late Model Sportsman, and The Eaton Clinic Modified Sportsman will qualify and run heat races, while the Murphy Towing Hot Shots will run heat races.
Super Late Models will have Practice Sessions on Friday night.
Action on Saturday, November 26 includes:
- Super Late Models ($3,000-To-Win/ $300-To-Start with a $100 entry fee)
- Trak-Star Crate Late Models B-Mains and Feature ($3,000-To-Win/$300-to-Start - entry fee $100)
- MSSS/Murphy Towing Street Stocks B-Mains and Feature ($2,000-To-Win/$150-To-Start - entry fee $75)
- William Wells Three Star Tire and Auto Factory Stocks B-Mains and Feature ($1,000-To-Win/$100-To-Start entry fee $30)
- Glenn’s BBQ and Fish Late Model Sportsman B-Mains and Feature ($1,500-To-Win/$100-To-Start - entry fee $30)
- Hot Shots B-Mains and Feature $700-To-Win/$60-To-Start (NO entry fee)
- The Eaton Clinic Modified Sportsman B-Mains and Feature ($1,000-To-Win/$100-to-Start -$30 entry fee).
Transponder Fee for all classes is $20.
NO PERSONAL VECHILES Will be ALLOWED in Pits.
