Inclement Weather Postpones Thursday’s Red Clay 602 Late Model Series Show at North Georgia to June 26
(BRASSTOWN, NORTH CAROLINA) Round seven of the Schaeffer’s Oil by Mike Bruner Red Clay 602 Late Model Series was slated to take place on Thursday night, June 18 at North Georgia Speedway. However, with a high chance of wet weather throughout the day in Chatsworth, Georgia, the $2,000 to win event has been postponed until Friday evening, June 26.
Next up on the racing calendar for the Red Clay 602 Late Model Series stars will be a visit to the renowned Cherokee Speedway in Gaffney, South Carolina on Saturday, June 20. The 6th edition of the ‘Robbie Weaver Memorial’ will take center stage at the “Track Your Momma Warned You About” and a $2,000 payday will be up for grabs. An open practice session will also be available to the 602 Late Model competitors on Friday, June 19.
The Schaeffer's Oil by Mike Bruner Red Clay 602 Late Model Series tire rule at Cherokee Speedway will be Left Front: Open, Left Rear & Right Front: American Racer Pro 2 (88.0 / 90.0), and Right Rear: American Racer Pro 2 or American Racer Pro 4 (92.0). The entry fee for the 602 Late Models will be $80.00 and transponders will be available to rent.
