USAC SILVER CROWN RACE AT THE ILLINOIS STATE FAIRGROUNDS POSTPONED
- TRACK ENTERPRISES, USAC AND ILLINOIS STATE FAIR TO RESEARCH RESCHEDULE DATE -
Macon, IL – Track Enterprises, Officials for USAC and the Illinois State Fairgrounds have announced the postponement of the USAC Silver Crown race due to weather. A reschedule date has not been announced at this time.
“Unfortunately, Mother Nature did not cooperate,†stated Bob Sargent of Track Enterprises. “We will examine all possible avenues for a date that is a win-win situation for everyone that is involved.†A huge field of cars is expected for tomorrow’s ARCA Remax Car Series race in conjunction with the Sportsman feature. Pit Gates will open at 6 am with grandstands opening at 8:30. Features are set to begin at 1PM Plenty of good seats are still available.
