New Richmond, WI (June 10, 2013): As donations and votes continue to trickle in the FANSFund is now over $5,400 thanks to sponsor support, volunteers raising funds through 50/50 and the great FANS that have already made their donations.
This week’s voting brought a new driver to our FANSFund Leaderboard as Clay Fisher from Dewitt, Arkansas has garnered most of this week’s online votes. Dennis McCauley, our FANSFund North volunteer, from Superior, WI has been in contact with Clay and Clay told him he would be here if voted in and would be honored to earn your votes to represent the FANS at this year’s USA Nationals. The father/son team of Donnie and Devin Moran still sit near the top of the leader board in 2nd and 3rd. The Moran’s are thankful for the FANS support and have told us they are also committed to coming to this year’s USA Nationals if voted in. Ross Camponovo, Bobby Pierce and Bill Frye still top the leader board for FANSFund All Star Voting this week. You can keep track of the 2013 voting by clicking the 2013 Driver Votes link on the right sidebar of the website, we’ll try to keep this updated weekly.
FANSFund volunteers will be out in force at Cedar Lake Speedway this coming weekend for the Masters. The team will be working hard taking donations and votes as well as raising funds through 50/50.
With only 5 weeks until the end of voting we need your support to achieve our goal. Donations can be made online at www.FANSFund.com/donations or by clicking on the Donate tab from the home page, where all the information you need to donate and vote can be found. Voting will end July 14th, but donations will be accepted from now through the end of July.
A huge Thank You goes out to the sponsors that have come on board so far: Pepsi, Butch and Linda Erickson of Badger Storage and Excavation, and Cedar Lake Speedway. We truly appreciate their support. The 2013 and 26th running of the USA Nationals is slated for, August 1st through 3rd, so if you haven’t already done so, order your tickets now at “Wisconsin’s Fastest Piece of Real Estate.†Go online to order your tickets and/or campsite today at www.CedarLakeSpeedway.com.
