STEVE SHAVER WINS ADRA DIRTMASTERS SUDDENLINK 30! NEXT STOP TCS
Apple Grove, WV September 4, 2013~ Congratulations to hometown favorite, “Showtime†Steve Shaver, in the #6 Long Horn Chassis as he bested a star studded field to take home a handsome $4000 pay day in the “ADRA Suddenlink 30†last Thursday as part of the 2013 Racefest at WV Motor Speedway in Mineral Wells, WV. (www.suddenlink.com) Shaver accounts for the 8th different winner in 8 completed events in 2013 for the ADRA DirtMaster Super Late Model Challenge Series presented by Suddenlink. Steve also won the Quick Time Suspensions Fast Time Award with a time of 17:28. (www.qtsuspension.com)
This was the 1st Thursday night venture for the ADRA and the fans did not disappoint. They were filled the hillside quite nicely by sunset. The pits were packed too as a reported 135 cars in 5 classes filed in. (www.wvspeedway.com) It would take a Super 8 Dash, 2 more heats, and 2 Consys to determine the “ADRA Suddenlink 30†Super Late Model starting field. (www.adraracing.net) Results as follows:

The WV Army National Guard, the Wood County Vo Tech Center/ Caperton Center, and the Racers In Christ Ministry were also on hand. Students from the Wood County Vo Tech debuted the WV Army National Guard GRT Late Model. The Wood County Vo Tech is working with the ADRA and the WV Army National Guard as a pilot program for the WV Motor Sports Development Program. This program is designed to introduce our students not only to Motor Sports as a recreation but also to all the many job opportunities created by Motor Sports in our world today. The goal moving forward is to make this program available statewide. (www.wvarng.com)
Tyler County Speedway of Middlebourne, WV is the next stop for the ADRA Dirt Masters presented by Suddenlink as the 25th running for the Earl Hill Memorial on Saturday September 14th paying $3000 to win and $300 to start with $125 guaranteed tow money. NO ENTRY FEE! There will be 1 change to the format. The ADRA has agreed to allow whatever the host track’s tire rules are for the rest of the season. It is very close to the end of the season so we will allow drivers to be able to use up whatever they have. (www.tylercountyspeedwayonline.com)
The 9th Annual (not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)son Classic will also run that night featuring the Renegades of Dirt Modifieds paying $3000 to win! $250 to start and $100 guaranteed tow money! You don’t want to miss out on those famous Tyler County Speedway fish sandwiches either! They are so good you will have to sit on your hand to keep from waving at the crowd! It promises to be a great time. Gates Open At 4:00pm, hot laps begin at 6:30, heat races at 7:30 and typically our race program ends around 11:00pm. Admission for special events is $20 General Admission and $35 for pits.
